Allison Burke is a trained dancer and choreographer, bringing a unique spatial awareness to her work and lending to dynamic and engaging explorations on film. Leading teams, taking risks, and staying true to the vision are some of her strengths. From one-shot, full budget videos to creative and improvisational takes, Allison works with musicians and creative collaborators to find a strong collective voice that is consistent to the vision all the way to the final edit.
With a BFA from Cornish College of the arts in Seattle, Allison is currently Program Director and Co-Founder of Chicago arts organization Southwest Creative Studio and is actively working with C-LS in NYC and multiple bands/creatives in Chicago on their film and dance projects. Film festival credits include: San Francisco Tiny Dance Festival, ACDA, Local Sightings, Velocity Dance Center Film Festival, and more.
